This is beautiful! I love the warm feel to it, and it isn't hard to sense the close bond between the mentor and apprentice. You also did well on the background, all of which adds to the scene really well. The only thing I might've done differently or added would be a bit of ruffling on the two cats' fur, because the way the grasses were drawn gives a nice wind/breeze effect. I also might have added a bit of wave into the sea horizon to get a little less of the perfect line effect. Just a few tiny things that were just my personal opinion. Neither of which lacking takes away from this!

Overall, a very warm and sweet piece. Good job!
